Hotel Molitor Paris
The Molitor has always been an iconic Parisian place, primarily thanks to its 60-year reign as the most popular swimming pool in the city for its avant-garde ambiance, before becoming the temple of the Parisian underground scene from 1989 to 2012.
Work EOY Drinks
It was the end of year financial drinks last night at the The George Hotel in South Melbourne. It was the first pub I had been in and also the first alcoholic drink that had passed through my lips since I got back to Australia.
Roast Lamb
I now have my fridge so I am able to buy fresh meat, fish and vegetables from the market and step up my cooking. I celebrated with a leg of lamb and roast potatoes. I was going to make homemade gravy and mint sauce but the lamb looked so great when it came out I could not wait and starting carving away. After letting it rest obviously.
Pool Boy
I have moved out of the hotel I was staying whilst I recovered from my flight from England and I have now set up temporary residence at my friends house in Seddon. I had to get a trolley to help me move all my bags out of the hotel and I was grateful I never took the option to bring a third suitcase to Australia.
Chatrium Hotel
I am in Bangkok staying at the Chatrium Hotel which is located on the banks of the majestic Chao Phraya River with the cultural and historical hub of Bangkok at its doorstep. I have been given a lovely room with a balcony with amazing views of the river and Bangkok skyline. The hotel has a great swimming pool which I have just spent the day at waiting for my flight to leave for Hong Kong.
Leaving Koh Samui
I have left Samui Buri Beach Resort on Koh Samui to head back to Bangkok as my suitcase is there and I desperately need some clothes. The last cleaner I dropped them off at ruined them. It was my own fault for waiting until the last minute and then the good cleaner could not take anymore. 60THB a kilo for my friend Matt.
