I am in Bangkok staying at the Chatrium Hotel which is located on the banks of the majestic Chao Phraya River with the cultural and historical hub of Bangkok at its doorstep. I have been given a lovely room with a balcony with amazing views of the river and Bangkok skyline. The hotel has a great swimming pool which I have just spent the day at waiting for my flight to leave for Hong Kong.
My only issue with the hotel was the food, as usual. My burger came and half was raw and the other half well done which was a big disappointment but breakfast by the river was very pleasant.
