I have moved out of the hotel I was staying whilst I recovered from my flight from England and I have now set up temporary residence at my friends house in Seddon. I had to get a trolley to help me move all my bags out of the hotel and I was grateful I never took the option to bring a third suitcase to Australia.
The weather has been very warm this week but thankfully my friend has a pool and an inflatable thong or flip-flop to Europeans so I have been able to jump in to cool off.
I have updated my CV and I am now looking around for work, my preferred choice is Melbourne but I am open to moving to another state which is why I am staying at my friends house before committing to a flat. I am being looked after so well here that I need to motivate myself every day to go job hunting and not sit around the pool working on my tan but it is hard.
