Marbella Part2
I went to Marbella in Spain last weekend as it was a public holiday on Monday in England so I popped over, as you do to see two out of three of my nephews.
Linley and Simpson
I was expecting to blog about how I picked up the keys to my new flat in Leeds and I was excited about finally moving out of hotels and into my own bed. I even went out on Saturday and purchased ben linen, towels, pillows and other various bits and bobs.
Premier League KO
I went into Manchester City Center on Saturday to get my hair cut before my hairdresser of twelve years leaves to move down to London. He has got himself a good job working for Trevor Sorbie and I have no plans to go to London for a haircut.
Community Shield 2012
I went to the Community Shield today at Aston Villa to see Manchester City who are the Champions of England play against Chelsea who won the FA Cup.
Leaving Spain
I am leaving Spain tonight to come back to England after nearly three weeks in the sun. If you forget the one day we had thunder and lightening and it was a mad scramble to get the washing in and the car moved to undercover as it is a convertible with a broken roof.
2012 Summer Holiday
I have been in Marbella now for just over two glorious weeks and I am in my last week before I have to leave the sun and go back to England. I have managed to read a few books on my new kindle and hope to finish two more before my holiday is over.
La Creperi
I arrived in Spain on Sunday night after an eventful afternoon with Monarch. I had an inclination that the day was going to be chaotic when I received a text message whilst queuing to check in saying the flight was going to be 35 minutes delayed but when I checked in she thought it was only 15 minutes.
Jurys Inn
I have moved out of the Hilton Hotel in Leeds as they keep putting me in noisy rooms and the straw that broke the camels back was getting woken up twice at 7AM by drilling on the floor above me. That incident alone would not have stopped me booking again but the response from the General Manager told me they did not care if I came or left so I left.
Diamond Jubilee
This weekend to mark 60 years of The Queen's reign we were all given Monday and Tuesday off work to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee and make it a four day celebration.
Manchester City Champions 2012
What an amazing end to the season, they thought we were dead and buried but the warriors of Manchester City Football Club refused to die and managed to score twice in injury time to make Manchester City Premier League Champions for 2012.
