Birthday 2012
I spent a lovely birthday weekend with my family and friends in Manchester. On Saturday I drove to St Annes to see my grandparents which was lovely as I do not get to see them as much as I would like.
Zoe and Harveys Wedding
My best friend got married this weekend to the perfect match she could ever meet. The wedding was amazing, great food, company, music and a room full of beautiful single women, what more could a single man ask for .. oh and an open bar :)
Harveys Stag
My best friend in the world is getting married so I went on her future husbands stag do this weekend in Leeds. I spend the week in Leeds for work so I know the area well but I was hoping for a weekend somewhere different.
Pizza Express
It took me over three hours to drive from Leeds to Manchester last night with twenty miles of queues on the M62 as a lorry lost a load of animal products on the westbound carriageway in a collision with a van.
Ajax Amsterdam
I went to Amsterdam in the Netherlands to see Manchester City play Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax, or as we know them just as Ajax Amsterdam.
Bridgewater Place
This week I could not find a hotel for under a 100 pounds so I headed down on Monday with my suitcase hoping that I could get one during my lunch. In the morning I watched as the rates increased and the availability reduced and it was starting to look like I would have to head back to Manchester.
iPhone 5
I got my new iPhone 5 delivered to my house from Apple which saved me having to camp outside on the street for days or spending hours in a queue waiting to be served. I prefer going directly to the big man himself and having it sat at home awaiting my arrival from a day at work.
Real Madrid
I went to Madrid to see Manchester City Football Club play Real Madrid at the Bernabeu which is a stadium I have always dreamt of watching a match at. An extra bonus was that the team I support would be playing Real Madrid in the Champions League and it was a game I could not miss.
Chill Factore
I had a fun-filled day today with lots of laughs with my nephew at Chill Factore. It is home to the UK's longest indoor skiing and snowboarding slope. The picture basically sums up the whole day, he started off full of energy and played then had a rest, ate ice cream and fell asleep in the car on the way home.
