Birthday Boy
Well today is my 30th , but as this web site is still working in UK time it will probably show up as yesterday. Anyway, the award for the first congratulations goes to Mandy who served the first greeting at 4am and then again at 4.30am. You win the star prize, you get mentioned in this most important posting.
Xmas
Well xmas is nearly here and this is a strange time of month to be in the sun. There does not seem to be as much xmas cheer around like at home (UK) and the shops are failing in providing any window displays that are worthy of stopping. Apart from the 2 main stores, Myer and David Jones which you have to join the queue to see the window displays.

Last night was Lonely Planets christmas party and the weather outside was in the 80's which makes a change from the usual xmas freeze.

I have just come back from the game but the lady at the information office sent me on the wrong tram to a different stadium which was not very good at all.
Crown Fires
When mum and dad were here we were having dinner outside there hotel by the river when all of a sudden this ball of flame came out of the sky. Which turned out to be columns which on the hour sent out bursts of fire, they did it 10 times and each time they get stronger and hotter.
