Waltzing Matilda

Waltzing Matilda

This was the last part of my Australian Citizenship Ceremony, Waltzing Matilda and Waving of Flags, sung by all and led by Richard Thomas, who had an amazing voice and sung with lots of passion. Sorry for the poor quality but I have reduced the file down to a low quality as I did not think you needed to see a HD version of us singing.

Australian Citizenship Ceremony

Australian Citizenship Ceremony

I am now finally an Australian 1975 days after leaving England and what a great night it was. I was sat between an Indian man and a Chinese woman and we made the night both enjoyable and fun. People from over 20 different countries became Australians tonight and I was only one of three people from the UK. We sang songs, we waved flags, and we applauded when people went up to collect the certificate and plant.

Citizenship Pledge

Citizenship Pledge

I finally received my letter telling me when I can say my pledge to Australia and officially become an Australian Citizen.

Water Usage Part 2

Water Usage Part 2

I just got my 2nd water bill after 5 years and it is worse than the one before. I am now using 239 Litres per day which is an increase of 9 Litres a day since I started trying to save water. Yes, that is correct. Since I started to try and save water I have actually increased my usage LOL.

Oops... I Did It Again

Oops... I Did It Again

I went to the English sweet shop on an empty stomach and emptied the shelf of Wispa. I almost got a full haul with plently of Wispa and Walkers but the final piece was missing, Monster Munch LOL. I did however get a Lion Bar and Galaxy. yummy.

Adebayor

Adebayor

Thanks to Manchester City for providing me with a fun week. Starting with Tevez signing and then the funny 'Welcome to Manchester' poster, great minds think alike as I had already twittered that headline a day earlier. They managed to top that by streaming the game FREE to everyone and what a great job they did, the technical team that is but it was our B team, I hope they continue to stream them all so we can see our new signing, Adebayor!

Baby Donn-Moss

Baby Donn-Moss

This week we were finally allowed to release the news that my baby sister is having a baby which is due at the end of January. I have been trying to persuade her to have the 3d scan which if you have it done to early it can make your baby out to be like chucky LOL. It really is amazing what they can do with technology and I imagine it will not be very long before they start producing videos. If you thought this picture was my sisters then dont worry, she doesnt have a 27 week old baby inside her at only week 12

MCFC Website

MCFC Website

I am loving the new Manchester City website, there are still a few bugs to be ironed out and for some reason there is no mobile version released yet but I would expect that to follow very shortly. The positive points are the new wide screen videos and no advertisement on the site. It actually took me until the next day to realise there was no adds because I run addblocker so I do not see adds anyway. On that note, I just installed adblocker on my iPhone - oh yeah :)

Michael Jackson Marbella 88

Michael Jackson Marbella 88

The king of pop has died; I remember going to see Michael Jackson in his first concert in Spain which was more than 20 years ago in Marbella, Spain. I was there with more than 28,000 fans in the town's municipal stadium in August 1988 as part of his 'Bad World Tour', I was only 14 at the time and I remember doing a lot of queuing around the stadium in the heat and my brother having a telephone directory to stand on , he did not come on until the evening but when he did he did not disappoint, he used a crane to fly over the crowd during the song 'Beat it'. He later took over the local shopping centre in the evening to go shopping for him and his entourage which consisted of around 150 people.
