Manchester
I am back in Manchester and it is freezing. The flight over was not as bad as I thought and I seem to have overcome the jetlag. It has been snowing all morning and I am wearing three jumpers to try and keep warm.
IT Xmas Party
This afternoon we had the IT department xmas party. We were picked up at work at 1pm and told to bring comfy shoes and sun cream would be provided. For some reason , maybe due to the extreme warm weather we went bowling , in the same building my flat is in!!!
St Kilda Festival
Australia's biggest music, art and community festival in the famous beachside location of St Kilda.
Storms and Floods
We have had rain non stop and it has caused flooding all over the place, on the way into work this morning shop signs were hanging off and trees were all over the roads. The river has overflowed and trees have been falling over on trains,cars and houses.
The Streets
I went to see The Streets last night in St Kilda. They are over from England to play The Big Day and several other smaller venues. Last night was one of those smaller venues as I did not fancy going to the BDO with 50,000 other people.
Australian Open
I have just come home from the tennis after watching a great game , Australia vs USA.
