AFL
What do you do post World Cup and pre EPL, you go to the AFL. My first Australian Football League Match was Carlton vs Western Bulldogs and I was supporting Carlton. They LOST! It is a lot less stressful then watching Man City and it has a nice feel not having segregated seating.

This week I have had a cold so I have been recovering for the start of the World Cup. I hope you like my Manchester St George Flag with my very 1st piece of red clothing, my England Shirt.
AUS vs GREECE
Thursday Night I went to Australia vs Greece in the MCG where the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games were held. It is a fantastic stadium, holding 100,000 people with prime views wherever you sit, I hope Wembley ends up being as good.
Byron Bay Holiday
I've just spent the past 5 days in Byron Bay with Georgia,Alex and Leo. This was my first holiday in Australia since I started work 1 and half years ago.
Commonwealth Games Open
Quick update before I go to bed, the games are open and the fish sprung to life, best bit was when the guy walked on the yarra river on a hidden walkway.
Commonwealth Games
The games are nearly here, Wednesday to be exact and the city is getting ready with hundreds of free events in the city. I'm looking forward to a few hundred people with headges on there heads that appear without warning for form a garden maze. It is better than it sounds, i will post some pics when I see them.
Australian Open
Last weekend I spent Sat at Brighton Beach, the weather was around 99 degrees and the sea was like a warm bath, it was the only place to stay cool. On Sunday the temperature rose to 110 so getting to the beach was not even an option, so i locked myself in my flat, put the air con on and watched tv all day.
Man City 3-1 Man Utd
What a start to the new year, My first derby on my big screen. Scott, who I work with and also in a band called Stroll came round to watch the game and we did not disappoint.
