Roast Lamb
I now have my fridge so I am able to buy fresh meat, fish and vegetables from the market and step up my cooking. I celebrated with a leg of lamb and roast potatoes. I was going to make homemade gravy and mint sauce but the lamb looked so great when it came out I could not wait and starting carving away. After letting it rest obviously.
Mint Hotel
I could not get into my usual hotel this week and as I am staying in Manchester on Tuesday night after the game against Villarreal I thought I would try the Mint Hotel in Leeds.
Pea Sandwich
I had a lamb, mint and pea sandwich today for lunch. I do not think I have ever had peas in that way before.I thought at least the peas would be mushy like home but they were crunchy. I suppose it is a summer fad that is supposed to be refreshing with the mint but they ruined it and were plopping in the bin within one bite.
