Mr Gready
When I reluctantly agreed to share desert I did not expect to wait whilst my sharer 'popped' into a shop.
La Creperie
La Creperie Strawberries, cream and banana
Zostrix
The shingles had become so painful as they were putting pressure on my ears and throat the chemist gave me a stronger cream called Zostrix, They offered me two strengths and being in pain I chose the strongest one.
Sweet Shop
I upgraded my return journey from economy to business after I price matched them against Etihad and got Emirates to reduce the cost by 50%. This meant my luggage allowance increased from 30kg to 40kg plus I had just got enough air miles from the first leg to become a silver member (again) and that gave me another 12kg.
Marbella Part2
I went to Marbella in Spain last weekend as it was a public holiday on Monday in England so I popped over, as you do to see two out of three of my nephews.
La Creperi
I arrived in Spain on Sunday night after an eventful afternoon with Monarch. I had an inclination that the day was going to be chaotic when I received a text message whilst queuing to check in saying the flight was going to be 35 minutes delayed but when I checked in she thought it was only 15 minutes.
Melbourne Storms
At 2.40pm on Saturday a dark cloud covered Melbourne and a storm cell unleashed itself and for 20 minutes 19 millimetres of rain bucketed down and 10cm balls of hail with such force that they bounced up from the ground to head height. Walking around yesterday was as if Armageddon had struck Melbourne and now the recovery starts. I feel sorry for all those people in rented cars who are now returning them in exchange for a huge bill for damages, Southern Cross train station had to be evacuated as heavy rain tore a hole in its roof and a deluge splashed down on the train platforms and I am thankful none of my windows were smashed
Cadburys Wispa
Wispa has arrived in Australia and I cannot stop eating them. When I was back in the UK in 2007 they were back but they had all sold out as it was a limited offer. After huge public demand they came back and now they are down under. Only 45pence back there but here they are a whopping £1.20. Thank You Cadburys xxx
Fruit Explosion
This week the weather has been getting hotter by the day climaxing today, Sunday at 37 Celsius this to Europeans is 99 Fahrenheit. I decided this morning I would try and get myself a bit healthier. I skipped the market as I did not fancy getting fruit that had been sat outside all day in this heat and instead headed to the supermarket and look at what I got. Banana, Melon, Grapefruit, Avocado, Tomato, Carrot, Coconut, Strawberries, Leek, Potatoe and Asparagus, what an exhilarating selection of fruit and veg to go along side the meat I purchased yesterday. I am having Beef Wellington for dinner on Monday :)
