Antipodes Festival Melbourne
This weekend in Melbourne was the Greek Festival. A lot of the main roads in the city were closed and turned into a fairground with rides, food stalls and a live concert of authentic Greek music.
It was basically a festival of food, what the Greeks call the 'hamburger of the Greeks', the Souvlaki.
On Sunday was a Purim festival with Kosher food on display but due to the jet lag and being unable to move outside of the city I was unable to attend the 2nd part of my multi-cultural weekend.
I was sat in a meeting this morning and didnt know it had started when I heard someone say, Simon what have you been up to? so I said , nowt much , spent the morning dropping my lunch all down my t-shirt at which point the room started laughing and I lifted my head up to see 20 people all waiting for a more productive answer.
