5th November 04 Manchester Derby

It is derby weekend and I am in Melbourne.

I can not remember the last derby I missed and I fancy this years will be a cracker.

Both sides are not at full strength and looking at recent performances anything could happen.

I have booked a hotel room to watch the game in as it is on at 3am here and I have work in the morning and no pubs are open that late.  I just hope its money well spent, there is nothing finer than watching live football.

C''mon the blues.

CTID

  1. United have lost only two Premiership fixtures against their local rivals, those being the most recent away games. The Red Devils have also not been beaten at the Theatre of Dreams by City since the famous 0-1 on 27 April 1974 when old favourite Dennis Law scored the goal that helped despatch United to the second tier for the first time since 1938.

  2. well i hope u got someone in there with ya 2 cheer u up devilish bye

  3. lol i cant believe we got out of there with a clean sheet. and no, this is shrek not rooney shrek

  4. fergie has lost the plot - extend his contract pleeeease

  5. Man City celebrated as though their 30 year old trafford jinx had actually come to an end after the draw with Manchester United

  6. but did you get out of there ( being the hotel room) with a clean sheet?

  7. i didnt see any wild celebrations, not like when utd beat arsenal, lol and I mean beat with a stick. Ruud , looks like a horse , kicks like a horse and this summer will be put out to pasture like the horse he is. UTD ARE FOR SALE!

  8. £68.8million strike force of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Alan Smith and Louis Saha is currently Old Traffords most impotent for 31 years. 6 goals is a poor return for that sort of money, 11.5 million per goal.

  9. another fergie quote..... ITS getting tickly now. I call it squeaky-bum time. on the 2003 title race
