Today we went to Prison and spent the morning behind bars .... We saw the original heads that three people used to trick the guards that they were in bed whilst they were escaping. There was an actual prisoner there who was selling signed copies of his book but on principle we did not purchase it or speak to him as after all he is a criminal so why should he profit from his crimes. read more

I landed in England at 12pm and by 10pm I had seen my grandparents, my friends, had dinner and been to a football match. A very busy first day , on the second day I was up,dressed and walking around Bury by 10am. The past week here in Melbourne the weather has been between 90 and 100 making it a very sweaty week. On Friday it reached 102 and the air con at work broke down, so Friday morning was unbearable at work. The drought is getting worse and to give an exampe of how much water has been lost, the rivers are now dry and they are revealing weapons that people discarded years ago, I think some criminals will be a bit worried this week. read more

This weekend in Melbourne was the Greek Festival. A lot of the main roads in the city were closed and turned into a fairground with rides, food stalls and a live concert of authentic Greek music. Morning All, I went to see last night in concert or known as the dirty dozen minus eminem. Hi, Got up this morning at 6 to catch a boat to , I've had some lunch hereand a shake and I now have 2 hrs to kill before my next boat. I am catching a boat to Ao Nang and from there I will need to get a tailboat to Railay Beach where I am supposed to be able to see my hotel. I could not wait any longer for my egg on toast fix and today I decided to go out and get a toaster as my grill is broke. I stumbled on an appliance that not only makes toasts but can poach or steam an egg at the same time. Another quarter and another failed target, I have not managed to hit the 155 litres a day target which the water board tell us we should aim for. I am using an average of 202 litres a day but it is 28 litres per day less than this quarter last year. At least I am on the right track by reducing my water but at this rate by the time I reach target 155 it will have been lowered to 100 litres. read more

My laptop finally decided to call it a day and committed suicide. Cause of Death: Hard drive failure and burnt out motherboard caused by overheating. I managed to remove the hard drive and plug it into my new laptop so I still have my data. read more
Last night I was making some duck and I ran out of disposable dishes so I placed the duck on some tin foil wrapped around an oven tray. When I took the duck out of the oven, all the juices ran off the tin foil and down my arm. Pain I can not describe shot up my arm and I then spent the rest of the evening putting layers of pain relief gel on. read more
This weekend I purchased a bike, all I can say is I think it looks pretty cool but I cant tell you what to do with the 21 gears.
