Since I came back from England I have worked two weeks and had one week off for Xmas. The only bit of exercise I have had is my Boxing Day walk which as you can see from the image was actually a bigger walk then planned. It is very refreshing walking around with no destination but you can find yourself walking around in circles, I walked so far I had to get the train home lol. read more

I am back in Australia after spending 2 weeks in England to see my family and friends. I got on the British Airways flight on Sunday Night and flew to Singapore, when I landed there it was 6pm and very hot, I sat on the roof for 30mins and had a cig whilst they were refueling the plane, then back on it to Melbourne. We are having some amazing weather here at the moment in Melbourne while my family and friends freeze over there in England. This is , my place of worship and only a 15 minute train journey away. The weather today was a nice 34 Celsius which is 93.2 Fahrenheit and Sunday is expected to be the same but Monday is going to be 41 Celsius, 105.8 Fahrenheit, thankfully I am going to be at work in a nice air conditioned office. read more
I am now finally an Australian 1975 days after leaving England and what a great night it was. People from over 20 different countries became Australians tonight and I was only one of three people from the UK. We sang songs, we waved flags, and we applauded when people went up to collect the certificate and plant. read more
It is a long weekend in Australia as Monday is a public holiday for the Queens birthday and it is the start of the World Cup. I gave IKEA another chance and lo and behold they had everything I wanted so I got a desk with a retractable side table, chair and mat so I can glide around. I then gave Ivan a lesson on Fifa, England 2 nil down to Croatia. First day back at work today and I was glad to be back busy again after two weeks off work. I landed in England at 12pm and by 10pm I had seen my grandparents, my friends, had dinner and been to a football match. A very busy first day , on the second day I was up,dressed and walking around Bury by 10am. I am in Spain now, I landed last night and what a lovely view I am greeted with each morning when I pull back my curtains. read more

I've just spent the past 5 days in Byron Bay with Georgia,Alex and Leo. This was my first holiday in Australia since I started work 1 and half years ago. I could not wait any longer for my egg on toast fix and today I decided to go out and get a toaster as my grill is broke. I stumbled on an appliance that not only makes toasts but can poach or steam an egg at the same time. This week we were finally allowed to release the news that my baby sister is having a baby which is due at the end of January. I have been trying to persuade her to have the 3d scan which if you have it done to early it can make your baby out to be like chucky LOL. This week the weather has been getting hotter by the day climaxing today, Sunday at 37 Celsius this to Europeans is 99 Fahrenheit. My laptop finally decided to call it a day and committed suicide. Cause of Death: Hard drive failure and burnt out motherboard caused by overheating. I managed to remove the hard drive and plug it into my new laptop so I still have my data. read more
I have spent a great Friday and Saturday in Manchester catching up with all my friends that I have not seen for 18months and some for 2 and a half years. This afternoon we had the IT department xmas party. They supplied food and drink and we had been split into teams and given t-shirts in team colours, mine was the white team. The reason I won mine was as the day progressed and I drank more it became harder and harder to release my fingers from the ball when prompted. read more
